- Cancellation / Missing Days – WorkSafe Victoria Courses held at Bunjil Place and Melbourne CBD, Bendigo and Geelong:If for some reason you are unable to attend your course, you may substitute your place in the course with another attendee at no additional charge providing it is relevant to them.
- Should you need to transfer to another date the following applies:
- You are welcome to transfer to another course date/cycle provided we are given written notice by email 2 business days before the course commencement date.
- A cancellation fee will be charged for any cancellations received within 2 business days of course commencement, due to catering costs incurred to us for those attendees unable to notify us with sufficient time. Cancellation charges will apply as follows:
- Less than 2 business days notice will incur a $70 + GST charge, to cover venue and catering costs.
- ‘No shows’ on the day will incur a $70 + GST venue and catering fee to transfer their course to another date.
- When participants are unable to attend one or more of the dates they are enrolled into, for 5 day courses, with notice we will substitute the dates with those corresponding days within another course. These days are called “make up days”. Each registration is entitled to one free change per person, per course. ITS at their discretion may allow additional days or date changes with 2 business days notice.
- ITS will, in good faith remind participants to notify us of all catering requirements, however we strongly urge that you, or your delegate notify us as soon as practical of any dietary requirements and/or allergies.
- Exceptions apply for Bendigo and Geelong locations as follows:
- Catering at either the Gold Diggers Arms or The National Hotel/Motel Complex in Bendigo is provided by the facility as part of their restaurant offering. Dietary requirements do not need to be given to ITS as these can be communicated on the day.
- Participant cancellation policy differs slightly for Bendigo and Geelong as follows:

- Catering fees will not be charged to participants or their employer contacts that miss training days at either location and whom require make up days or to reschedule their 1 day course.
- ITS offer this varied policy to our regional clients, as unlike our CBD facilities, we incur charges only for those attending on the day. Provided the participant and/or employer contact notify us of a planned absence and the number of participants unable to attend does not exceed 3 per course, we will happily transfer missed day(s) to the next suitable session.
- Failure to notify us could result in forfeiture of total course fees.
- ITS at their discretion, may waiver cancellation charges as part of a “goodwill” gesture and we encourage all clients and participant to call us should they have special circumstances.
- Cancellation / missing days Comcare: If for some reason you are unable to attend your course, you may substitute your place in the course with another attendee at no additional charge providing it is relevant to them.
- Should you need to transfer to another date the following applies:

- Group cancellations may incur cancellation fees where numbers of participants withdrawing/transferring exceed 3 per course.
- Failure to “show” or notify us may result in forfeiture of all course fees.
- When participants are unable to attend one or more of the dates they are enrolled into, for 5 day courses, with notice we will substitute the dates with those corresponding days within another course. These days are called “make up days”. Each registration is entitled to changes free of charge, should participants notify us ahead of time. ITS reserves the right to apply $70 + GST fee for make up days, whereby participants fail to attend planned dates on a repeated basis.
- ITS will, in good faith assist clients who wish to enrol into courses commencing within a window whereby postage may not reach the HSR in time. ITS uses Australia Post Express post service however for special requirements we will arrange a courier for HSR’s for a $30 + GST fee.
- Please note, addresses provided to us, and the accuracy of, is the responsibility of the person registering. Should Australia Post be unable to deliver the training materials, or should they not be collected within a certain time frame and require a secondary despatch, a $30 + GST postage and handling charge will be incurred.
